Expanding housing. Strengthening stability.
Creating Pathways to Housing, Stability, and Opportunity
Across our region, rising costs, limited affordable options, and growing economic pressures are making it increasingly difficult for individuals and families to find and maintain stable housing. As more people face homelessness, the need for housing opportunities and supportive services continues to grow.
The Home Starts Here Campaign is Father Bill's & MainSpring's response to this challenge. Through two essential investments, the campaign will expand access to housing while strengthening the support systems that help individuals achieve and maintain stability.

Expand Supportive Housing

Launch the Plymouth Housing Resource Center
Establish a new Plymouth Housing Resource Center (HRC), building on the success of Housing Resource Centers in Quincy and Brockton, to provide centralized help for shelter routing, housing navigation, supportive services, and connections to community resources.
Together, These Investments Will
Building Pathways to Housing Stability
Father Bill's & MainSpring has transformed how communities respond to homelessness through the creation of Housing Resource Centers in Quincy and Brockton. By bringing shelter, housing navigation, supportive services, and community resources together in one coordinated setting, these centers help individuals stabilize, address immediate needs, and take meaningful steps toward housing.
Building on this proven model, the Plymouth HRC will expand access to coordinated services and housing pathways for individuals experiencing homelessness throughout the region.
The campaign will also expand supportive housing for people who face the greatest barriers to maintaining housing independently. By pairing affordable housing with coordinated services, supportive housing helps households remain housed and improve their quality of life.
Lasting Impact
Together, supportive housing and the Plymouth Housing Resource Center create stronger pathways to stability—helping more people secure and maintain housing, preventing future housing crises, and strengthening our communities for years to come.
A Proven Approach
For more than a decade, Father Bill's & MainSpring has developed and refined a coordinated approach to addressing homelessness that combines connection to basic needs, housing support, and individualized services. Through Housing Resource Centers in Quincy and Brockton, FBMS has demonstrated how bringing these resources together creates stronger pathways to housing and better, lasting outcomes.
The Home Starts Here Campaign builds on this proven model. By expanding supportive housing and bringing a Housing Resource Center to Plymouth, FBMS is advancing an approach that helps individuals move from homelessness to housing and sustain that stability over time.
“What sets FBMS apart is its thoughtful, data-informed approach that puts people first. Through its Housing Resource Centers and supportive housing model, FBMS offers more than just a roof—it provides the wraparound services that help individuals achieve stability and long-term self-sufficiency. Their work is strategic, scalable, and grounded in outcomes. This next phase—investing in supportive housing—is a natural evolution of their proven model, and we’re proud to support it.”

"Having a place to call home is probably the single biggest thing you can do for someone. It gave me stability, improved my health, and helped me stay connected to my daughter, my brother, and my grandkids."
