At our emergency shelters for individual adults, Father Bill’s & MainSpring serves three meals a day, 365 days per year. That equates to more than 230,000 meals per year, made possible through volunteer power.
Guests of our individual shelters also have access to health care clinics, showers, laundry facilities, as well as in-kind essentials like clothing and toiletries, much of it donated by our generous supporters.
Our family shelter guests have access to kitchen space, showers, laundry facilities. And in our larger congregate shelters we provide play spaces for children and private office space with computers for parents.
We ensure children are attending school and help families access affordable childcare. We also help families access health services, workforce training, and make sure all their basic needs are met.
Volunteer Impact
Throughout the year our generous community steps up for our most vulnerable neighbors by preparing and serving meals and hosting collection drives for our high-need items. To learn more about how you can support our mission, visit helpfbms.org/volunteer.
