[vc_row][vc_column][vc_single_image image=”2148″ img_size=”full”][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Thanksgiving is a very special day for our agency, a day to come together and count our many blessings. For the first time since 2019, we are holding larger in-person Community Meals in Quincy and Brockton that are open to the public. In addition, we are continuing our expanded meal-delivery operation that we introduced during the pandemic. In total, we expect to provide meals to approximately 1,500 of our neighbors in need.
Community Meal
On Thanksgiving, Father Bill’s & MainSpring (FBMS) will host two Community Meals open to any individual in need of a dinner. The locations and times are as follows:
- Quincy – Christ Episcopal Church, 12 Quincy Avenue (Corner of Elm St, across from Firestone Tire) from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. (Last seating at 1:30 p.m.)
- Brockton – MainSpring House, 54 North Main Street 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. (Last seating at 1:30 p.m.)
Thanksgiving Fund
FBMS must raise $15,000 in order to cover the costs of providing meals to everyone who needs one this year. Make a gift through the donation form below.
Volunteer
We are nearing our volunteer capacity for Thanksgiving, so we are asking supporters to consider donating to our Thanksgiving Fund or helping prepare meals for our shelter sites beyond the Thanksgiving holiday.
