With high housing costs, many low income and disabled individuals and families simply cannot afford rent or access housing on their own.
Father Bill's & MainSpring (FBMS) creates and provides affordable, safe housing with supportive services for individuals and families who had once been homeless.
We operate several hundred homes throughout the region. Our housing is directed to people who have been homeless a long time or have challenges or disabilities. Each household receives ongoing case management services to help them stabilize in their homes. For those who don’t need our supportive housing, we provide assistance to move them from emergency shelter back into homes in their communities.
“Now that I have a place to live and I don’t have to sleep in my car at night, I am more reliable for my job. It was hard to get up and be ready for work when you’ve barely slept all night in your car. I can shower and be presentable before going into work in the morning.”
