The Table, our community lunch program, provides free healthy meals to men, women and children, six days a week.
After The Table’s home for 25 years at the nearby St. Paul's church closed in 2010, FBMS stepped in to help. Today, The Table operates out of our MainSpring House emergency shelter in downtown Brockton, with support from dedicated donors and volunteers, and in partnership with Stonehill College's The Farm, for fresh locally grown produce.
Volunteers, staff and guests get to know one another over a hot meal --- served with dignity. When available, The Table also provides sandwiches and/or other take-out items.
The Table relies on volunteers to prepare and serve lunch. To participate, you must be at least 16 years of age and available from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. If you are interested in volunteering, please contact: firstname.lastname@example.org.
The Table operates daily for lunch with the exception of Tuesday's.

“We get to know these people; they become like ‘our kids’. You worry when they don’t show up.You especially worry about them on the days it snows. We see generations…grandfathers, fathers, sons. We now have two child booster seats, and sometimes even that’s not enough.
I feel The Table is saving a lot of people that live on the margins from really going under.”
